RazorPop's TrustyFiles 2.0 is an interesting alternative to public-network file sharing. It offers private P2P transfers, along with public music and video searching and downloading, using the Gnutella network. When you install TrustyFiles, you can specify whether you want your shared files to be public (open to anyone), personal (private and public sharing), or private (friends only). If you're behind a firewall or router, you must set up port forwarding for TrustyFiles to work.

How FolderShare Libraries Work

- When a user creates a FolderShare Library they designate files on their own computer that they would like to share. A user might share MS Word documents from his office computer with his home or share photos from home with family member's computers.

- To make the files in the Library accessible, simply run the FolderShare program and leave the computer online.

- Running the FolderShare program on any 2nd computer allows a user or his designated colleagues to connect to the Library and retrieve files from the original computer.

- FolderShare library members can also edit and add files to a Library. All changes are replicated/mirrored on all computers connected to the Library.

- All files are transferred from the user's own hard drive, so there is no manual uploading involved and space is only limited by the size of your hard drive.

- No special file navigation interface - access, copy, and add files as you normally do ( "C" drive, Windows Explorer, Network drive). The FolderShare application runs in the background looking for added, deleted, or changed files.

non saprei...non conosco quelli che hai citato tu...

in realtà non sono un gran conoscitore del p2p, anche se l'ho usato...

in realtà, quando all'inizio c'era Napster, era più che sufficiente perchè si poteva salvare la lista di utenti e quindi appena erano online, bastava cercare all'interno dei loro file condivisi per scambiarsi direttamente files e condividere ciò che serviva..

poi ho solo conosciuto WinMX che non permetteva ciò...



stamane, stavo cercando un modo per poter condividere risorse con alcune persone..dallo spazio web free dove uplodare/downlodare via ftp, all'hard drive sul web..ecc.ecc.
