Sono giorni che cerco senza trovare nulla.

Qualcuno sa se esiste o è in lavorazione una versione dello snitz forum senza tabelle?

A seguito di qualche prova e della mia appena nata passione per il php (l'ho sempre ammirato perché somiglia un po' di più al C ma non l'ho ancora usato seriamente) ho deciso di abbandonare snitz in favore di phpbb.

Ora, siccome mi piacerebbe avere una versione accessibile, ho cercato se esistono dei template accessibili scaricabili trovando solo quello di Crazy Bat Designs ma la grafica non mi soddisfa molto. Ho chiesto a CSS creator se la loro versione (più accattivante graficamente) è disponibile per il download ma mi hanno risposto che è stata fatta specificatamente per la loro versione con tutti i vari MOD e quindi non risulta ridistribuibile.

Tutto questo preambolo per chiedere: visto che questo e un phpBB e che per ZN lavorano molti Dei e Dee dell'accessibilità, state per caso preparando un layout accessibile per il forum? E' in progetto per il prossimo futuro?

Io ho comunque intenzione di farlo ma se c'è già qualcosa mi potrei aggregare come bassa manovalanza.

credo che sia un'impresa... titanica, tanto per restare in tema; un forum accessibile e' davvero molto complicato, se ne parlava tempo fa con un amico che ci si voleva cimentare; se vuoi chiedo nel forum di diodati se conoscono un template free

Ho già cercato su Diodati, parlano di template accessibili ma ho cercato sia su phpbb.com che phpbb.it senza trovare nulla di significativo. L'unico template veramente accessibile trovato è quello che ho citato nel messaggio di prima (crazybat), hanno sostituito le tabelle con i div più altre cose tipo strong e i title per l'accesibilità. Potete vederlo in azione qui.

Parlando con i Guru di CSS Creator mi hanno detto che potrebbero spedirmi la loro template per poterla usare come punto di partenza. La parte grafica rispecchia abbastanza il layout a tabelle mentre senza stile perde un po' di coerenza, magari aggiungendo qualche br e hr qua e là nascosti nella versione grafica.....

Ad ogni modo ormai ho deciso di impegnarmi in questa impresa titanica, magari ci metterò tanto tempo ma non importa, lo faccio per divertimento.

Hello there.

I apologize for not being able to speak Italian. However, after doing a translation of the messages here, I think you are looking for a mod and or style that will make the phpBB somewhat accessible and tableless.

I can't say that my version of the phpBB is tableless, as there are items that are meant to be tabular and some that are still in tables that shouldn't be.

However, if you want to use what I've created already, please feel free to check it out.

I've also incorporated the latest phpBB security fixes as well.

Also note that I'm still working on improving my mod and style changes. I'm currenlty working on improving the semantics of the phpBB. Like removing some of the tables in place.

Hello again. I know it's been a while since I've been here, but I've been busy reworking what I've worked on so far and I think I'm almost finished.

Basically, I've removed a few of the tables as well as improved semantics and structure. Also, I added in some CSS switching.

i used the forum tags: opened a [quote], then opened an [i] and then pressed the button "close the tags" and the result was as follows:

Thanks for your feedback. I do understand what you are saying. It is suppose to close all open tags, not just the current one and also have that * that shows up wwith the open tags. That would be because I was trying to validate this page by changing the Javascript to call document.getElementById('post') and it looks like I broke the functionality.

I'll take the old Javascript and implement it back in for now as I'd rather have the page function as intended. I'll have to find someone that knows their Javascript
