Sostituendo il firmware della scheda Ethernet si ottiene un rootkit che il sistema operativo non può rilevare.

Non ho esperienza nell'aggiornare schede di rete ma un virus "x" su un pc win potrebbe cambiarmi il firmware così in silenzio? la stessa cosa era stata fatta per il bios non efi delle schede madri ma era ritenuta (se non mi sono perso qualcosa) inefficacie perchè bisognava avere l'accesso fisico del pc e quindi essere l'utente stesso.
