per compilare delle sorgenti, mi serve XML::Parser, ma non sò dove trovarlo!
mi basterebbe qualunque tipo di fonte (altre sorgenti, perl, RPM, Deb)

Apri una shell e prova a dare cpan (come root)
Se non l'hai mai usato, ti farà alcune domande (mi sembra, non ricordo bene). Alla fine, quando otterrai il prompt cpan> dai install XML::Parser.
Su Slackware c'è un tool molto comodo, cpan2tgz, che pacchettizza i moduli perl al volo; controlla prima se c'è qualcosa di analogo anche per la tua distribuzione.

Anche se me lo dici, non posso aiutarti, non usando debian. Usa synaptic per cercare xrender all'interno dei pacchetti. Poi, visto che debian ha un'infinità di pacchetti precompilati, mi sembra impossibile che beryl non ci sia già.  |

| su synaptic non c'è e neanche sul sito di debian non c'è, ho trovato la sorgente su non mi ricordo dove, ma per compilarla mi serve il pacchetto X, ovviamente in internet ci sono miliardi di pacchetti x.... (ovviamente X non c'è su synaptic) |
